Overview

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and proactive intern to help us improve our software products and support our early-stage customer acquisition efforts.

The role combines Product Testing, User Experience Evaluation, Product Documentation, and Pre-Sales Support.

You will explore our product from the perspective of different user types, test its features and workflows, identify bugs and usability issues, and prepare structured reports with actionable recommendations. You will also help us identify potential customers, introduce them to our product, follow up on enquiries, and nurture leads towards product demonstrations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in software products, quality assurance, customer success, and B2B sales.

The work

Key Responsibilities

Product Testing & Quality Assurance — Primary Responsibility

  • Thoroughly test the product across its features, modules, and workflows.
  • Test the product from the perspective of different user roles, such as administrator, manager, staff member, and end user, wherever applicable.
  • Create realistic user scenarios and test the complete customer journey from registration and onboarding to day-to-day usage.
  • Identify bugs, broken workflows, confusing interfaces, missing features, and inconsistencies.
  • Test forms, buttons, permissions, reports, notifications, integrations, and other functionality.
  • Re-test reported issues after fixes to verify that they have been resolved.
  • Maintain a structured record of test cases, test results, screenshots, and reproduction steps.

Also

Product Improvement & Documentation

The expectation is not just to find problems, but to explain why they matter and recommend practical solutions.

Lead Generation & Pre-Sales Support (Not Compulsory - Bonus on Achievements)

  • Prepare clear bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, and severity.
  • Identify usability issues and recommend ways to simplify the product.
  • Suggest improvements to the user interface, navigation, onboarding, and overall user experience.
  • Identify missing features or workflow improvements based on realistic customer requirements.
  • Maintain a prioritised list of bugs, improvements, and feature suggestions.
  • Prepare weekly product testing and improvement reports for the management team.
  • Research competitor products to understand their features, user experience, and positioning.
  • Research and identify potential customers who may benefit from our product.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, business directories, company websites, and other relevant sources.
  • Understand the prospect's business and determine whether the product is relevant to their needs.
  • Contact prospects through approved email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or telephone channels.
  • Introduce the product and communicate its key benefits using approved messaging.
  • Follow up with interested prospects and nurture them towards booking a product demonstration.
  • Maintain accurate lead records, communication history, follow-up dates, and lead status in the CRM.
  • Record common objections, customer questions, feature requests, and feedback from prospects.
  • Coordinate with the management team to arrange demonstrations and hand over qualified leads.

Also

Customer Feedback & Market Research

  • Collect and organise feedback from prospects and product users.
  • Identify recurring customer pain points and feature requests.
  • Research competing solutions and document differences in features, pricing, and positioning.
  • Share insights that can help improve the product, onboarding, and sales messaging.
  • Help prepare FAQs, basic product guides, and demonstration checklists.

  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to investigate problems.
  • Logical thinking and the ability to follow workflows systematically.

  • Confidence in speaking with business owners and potential customers.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with web applications.
  • Ability to document findings clearly using Google Sheets, Excel, Google Docs, or similar tools.
