About the role

Star Event and Conference Services is hiring an Operations Manager!

The work

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute corporate events, conferences, dealer meets, and MICE programs.
  • Coordinate with hotels, resorts, vendors, clients, and service partners.
  • Manage event logistics, accommodation, transportation, schedules, and on-site operations.
  • Handle vendor negotiations, quotations, budgets, cost tracking, and cost control.
  • Supervise event staff and coordinate teams for smooth execution.
  • Understand client requirements and resolve operational challenges promptly at event locations.
  • Travel as required to support events and ensure successful delivery.

  • 2–5 years of experience in event management, MICE, hospitality, corporate travel, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, leadership, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
  • Comfort working with clients, vendors, hotels, and internal event teams.
  • Willingness to travel for events as required.
