Paytm is hiring for the role of Area Sales Manager!
The work
•
Drive sales and penetration of EDC/swiping payment machines to medium merchants across designated territories.
•
Focus on merchant acquisition and servicing in sectors such as petrol/gas stations, oil marketing companies (OMCs), and retail businesses.
•
Manage end-to-end sales and operations for offline payment solutions within the assigned geography.
•
Build, mentor, and lead the on-ground sales team, setting clear performance targets and deadlines.
•
Monitor sales team metrics, conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide coaching.
•
Resolve merchant queries, ensure seamless onboarding, and drive engagement across the merchant base.
•
Maintain strong working relationships with partner PSU entities and retail merchant networks.
