Nearestate is a Hyderabad-based PropTech marketplace built around RealView360®, an immersive virtual-tour experience that helps people explore and discover properties online. The team combines real estate, content, marketing, and technology to make property search more engaging and useful. As an SEO Intern, you will contribute to the visibility and growth of the company’s digital products while learning from experienced marketing professionals. You will be guided by the SEO Manager throughout the internship.

The work

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, organize search intent, and identify content opportunities across B2B, eCommerce, and property-related topics.
• Support on-page optimization, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and image alt text.
• Research, outline, and draft blogs, comparison pages, and landing-page content that is useful to readers and optimized for search.
• Assist with technical SEO checks for broken links, duplicate content, crawl issues, page speed, and schema markup.
• Analyze competitor rankings, content, and backlink profiles, and summarize opportunities for the team.
• Track organic traffic, rankings, and conversions using Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and help prepare performance reports.
• Support outreach and link-building research while monitoring algorithm updates and SEO best practices under the guidance of the SEO Manager.

Requirements

This is a paid, full-time, in-office internship based in Hyderabad for 3 months, with a stipend of ₹10,000–₹12,000 per month. The intern will receive direct guidance from the SEO Manager, mentorship, hands-on exposure to live SEO campaigns and professional tools, a certificate, and a letter of recommendation for strong performance. High-performing interns may also be considered for a full-time opportunity.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Information Technology, or a related field.
• No prior professional experience is required; relevant coursework, a personal blog, or a website is a plus.
• Basic understanding of crawling, indexing, ranking, keyword research, and on-page SEO.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, CMS platforms, or tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog is helpful.
• Strong writing, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, organization, and attention-to-detail skills, along with a willingness to learn quickly.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an advantage.
