Overview

Lunar is building the operating system for after-school academies — music, dance, sports, martial arts, art, theatre, yoga and more.

We help academies manage students, fees, payments, attendance and communication in one place, built around how academies actually operate.

We're looking for a Field Sales Executive to help us grow across Bengaluru.

This is not a desk Job. You'll meet academy owners, understand how they work, introduce them to Lunar and help interested academies get started.

More importantly, you'll get to experience how an early-stage startup is built and grown from the inside.

What you'll actually do

You won't be expected to follow a rigid sales script. We want you to learn how to have good conversations, understand customers and communicate what Lunar can do for them.

Who this could be great for

• Visit dance studios, music schools, sports academies, martial arts schools and other activity centres around Bengaluru
• Speak with academy owners and understand how they currently manage their academy
• Introduce them to Lunar and understand whether it solves a real problem for them
• Help interested academies take their first steps with Lunar
• Learn what makes a customer interested, hesitant or ready to adopt
• Bring feedback from the field directly back to the Lunar team

You don't need previous sales experience. Curiosity, confidence and willingness to learn matter more.

What you'll learn

You'll get direct exposure to how Lunar is being built as an early-stage startup.

• A college student interested in startups, business development, sales or entrepreneurship
• A dance or music tutor, sports coach, martial arts instructor or other activity teacher who is curious about the startup/business side
• Someone who has been genuinely involved in an extracurricular activity and understands this world from the inside
• Comfortable meeting new people and having conversations in person
• Able to spend a few flexible hours each week visiting academies in Bengaluru

Find customers → understand their problems → pitch the product → onboard them → learn from them → improve → repeat

You'll get exposure to business development, sales, customer discovery, product feedback and go-to-market, while working closely with the founding team.

The conversations you bring back from the field can directly influence what we build and how we grow.

This isn't a Job where you're given a made-up project just to keep you busy. You'll be working on something Lunar is actively trying to solve.
