About the role

GogoPogo is a DPIIT-recognised startup from Guwahati, incubated at IIMSFIE (IIM Shillong) and Assam Startup. Our engine lets anyone launch an online merchandise brand with no stock and no capital. We make each item only after it's ordered, and we handle payments, shipping and customer support. Our engine has processed over 2,600 orders so far.

About the internship

The work

What you'll do

Also

Weeks 1–2: Launch your own brand

  • Work through short modules on core management concepts in your learning dashboard.
  • Plan your store:
  • pick a niche or community you know well;
  • choose products from the GogoPogo catalogue;
  • create or upload designs;
  • set your profit margins.
  • Launch your store and try at least one marketing tactic to win your first order.
  • Share feedback on every step in a weekly call with the founders.

Also

Weeks 3–4: Bring 2 peers on board

  • Onboard 2 students from your college as pilot users and guide them until their stores are live.
  • Earn an incentive on the revenue their stores generate.

Also

After the internship (by invitation)

  • Top performers become Campus Partners. They host a paid D2C challenge on their campus and share in its profit.

Also

What you get

  • ₹1,000 fixed stipend
  • Your own live D2C brand, with the margin on every order from your store
  • A % of the revenue generated by the peers you onboard
  • A share of the profit as a Campus Partner (by invitation)
  • Weekly sessions with the founders, plus Koda, our AI assistant, at every step
  • An internship certificate, and a letter of recommendation for strong performers
  • A real venture to talk about in interviews, with real numbers behind it

Also

Who should apply

  • You belong to a community you understand well: your language, hometown, fandom, sport or hobby
  • You can give about an hour a day for 4 weeks and join one weekly call
  • You're active on social media; involvement in campus clubs or events is a plus

Also

Please read before applying

  • This internship is for people who want to build something of their own. If you're mainly looking for a stipend, this isn't the right fit.
  • You will never be asked to pay anything. Products are made only after a customer orders, so there's no stock to buy and no investment.
