Indian Army is hiring for the role of Education Landscape Study Intern!

The work

Responsibilities of the Intern

  • Request, retrieve and compile official education statistics, school performance reports, enrolment figures, and infrastructure inventories for schools in J K and Ladakh.
  • Draft, pilot and distribute online questionnaires for teachers, parents and students across AGS, private and government schools track response rates and ensure data quality.
  • Organise and moderate online focus group discussions and interviews with school principals, teachers, parent teacher association members and education officials.
  • Clean, code and merge quantitative datasets maintain a secure, anonymised database in compliance with data privacy guidelines.
  • Perform statistical analyses e.g., ANOVA, regression and thematic coding of qualitative inputs develop an Infrastructure Index and Academic Performance Index produce tables, charts and visualisations.
  • Draft a comprehensive landscape report, an executive policy brief and a presentation deck for senior Army and UT education officials.
  • Prepare a hand over package datasets, analysis scripts, methodology notes for continued monitoring after the internship.
