Barclays is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager!
The work
•
Execute operational and backend processes within an MNC banking environment, including Annual Review Process, KYC Refresh, Pricing & Billing, Transaction Monitoring, and Payments.
•
Undertake critical administrative activities aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk controls.
•
Lead the training and learning agenda for team members, mentoring colleagues to drive operational consistency.
•
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure high processing standards across deliverables.
•
Prepare operational reports, presentations, and leadership dashboards to reflect productivity, SLAs, and improvement initiatives.
•
Manage team workflows to ensure balanced resource allocation and timely turnaround.
•
Identify operational risks, ensure business continuity, and implement process streamlining initiatives.
•
Support UK Corporate Banking coverage by driving tools, CRM impact (Salesforce/UCRM), and client insight enablement.
Who they want
•
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields (Postgraduate/MBA or equivalent preferred).
•
Experience in MNC banking, financial services operations, or middle-office processing.
•
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
•
Knowledge of financial services, corporate banking, or investment banking products.
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
•
Flexibility to work in shifts, particularly UK operational hours.
