The work

Responsibilities of the Intern

• Identify potential customers through cold calling, email, online research, and market visits.
• Generate leads and develop new business opportunities.
• Contact prospective customers and explain the company's products and services.
• Follow up with leads, prospects, and existing customers to move sales opportunities forward.
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Maintain customer databases and update lead status regularly.
• Work toward assigned sales targets and business development objectives.
• Visit customers, corporate offices, dealers, and business locations as required.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations where required.
• Explore new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
• Maintain visit reports and submit daily or weekly field activity updates.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Understand customer needs and maintain effective communication.
• Respond to customer queries and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Maintain professional conduct during calls, meetings, and field visits.
• Ensure timely follow-up and maintain accurate customer interaction records.
• Support customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

• Basic understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and sales funnels.
• Ability to prepare and maintain customer lists, quotations, and sales reports.
• Graduate in any discipline; candidates with a BBA, B.Com, BCA, B.Tech, or other relevant qualifications may be preferred depending on the role.
• Freshers with a strong interest in sales and business development are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential.
