About the role

Responsibilities: • Redesigning prototype parts (wooden and 3D-printed) into sheet-metal and machined parts in SolidWorks • Designing the machine’s frame, brackets, mounts and mechanisms for laser cutting, bending and machining • Preparing manufacturing drawings and coordinating with local fabrication vendors to get parts made • Solving real mechanical problems such as alignment, jamming, vibration, and parts exposed to heat, water and milk • Assembling, testing and improving mechanisms on the working machine • Selecting food-safe materials (SS304, food-grade plastics) and keeping the design easy to service and clean • Documenting designs, BOMs and assembly steps
