The team is looking for a creative and proactive Marketing & Growth Intern who is excited to learn by doing and contribute to meaningful brand-building initiatives.

The work

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute social media content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
• Research content trends, competitor activity, and audience interests to identify opportunities.
• Develop ideas for reels, carousels, stories, campaigns, and other engaging formats.
• Write captions, hooks, marketing copy, and short-form content.
• Support basic Canva design work and short-form video editing.
• Explore collaborations with creators, communities, and relevant brands.
• Monitor content performance and recommend improvements to reach, engagement, and conversions.
• Work closely with the founder on growth experiments and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

This is a remote, full-time internship offering a monthly stipend of ₹5,000–₹6,000 for 3 months, with potential extension. The intern will gain hands-on experience in content strategy, social media, digital marketing, and startup growth while building a practical portfolio through owned projects. Applicants should submit a resume, a short introduction, and either a work sample or two to three content ideas for Mates on Mile.

• Suitable for college students, recent graduates, and aspiring marketers.
• Strong communication, creative thinking, and willingness to take initiative.
• Interest in social media, digital marketing, travel, and brand building.
• Familiarity with Instagram and Canva; video-editing experience is an advantage.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Prior experience is not mandatory; a portfolio or thoughtful content ideas are welcome.
