About the role

We're looking for an experienced and decisive Lead - Projects to join our organization in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will drive the successful execution of strategic projects while leading and mentoring a high-performing team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to motivate teams toward achieving project goals. • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets; allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive accountability and excellence • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans to address potential obstacles and ensure project continuity • Manage stakeholder communications and expectations throughout the project lifecycle; provide regular status updates and progress reports • Monitor project performance against key metrics and KPIs; implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget adherence • Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize team productivity and project outcomes • Collaborate with senior leadership to align project objectives with organizational strategy and business priorities • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance project efficiency and team performance • Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure quality deliverables and timely completion • Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to support continuous improvement initiatives • 5+ years of professional experience in project management, with demonstrated success leading complex, multi-phase projects • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, managing cross-functional teams of varying sizes • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions • Advanced proficiency in project management tools and software (Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms) • Demonstrated expertise in budget management, resource planning, and cost control • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels • Strong organizational and time management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies and continuous optimization • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (preferred) • Experience with data analysis and performance metrics tracking (preferred) • Knowledge of industry-specific project requirements relevant to your sector (preferred) NA Visit our tech blogs to learn more about some the challenges we deal with: https://medium.com/swiggy-bytes We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law.
