Schneider Electric is hiring for the role of Engineer II, Electrical Systems Design!

The work

Responsibilities of the Candidate

  • Develop LV architectures, single-line diagrams, schematics,specifications, and bills of material.
  • Review customer requirements, deviations, assumptions, interfaces, and technical risks.
  • Select and size switchgear, switchboards, ACBs, MCCBs, busbars, busway, ATS, PDUs, metering, and monitoring equipment.
  • Support design reviews, manufacturing clarification, FAT, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare load, short-circuit, voltage-drop, cable-sizing, protectioncoordination, and selectivity calculations.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in LV electrical system design, application engineering, project engineering, or power distribution engineering.
  • Practical knowledge of LV switchgear, circuit protection, electrical drawings, equipment selection, and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of applicable IEC principles for LV assemblies and installations.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, customer focus, and ownership.
