UI and UX Design Associate
Take a brief to a wireframe, then to a screen somebody can actually use.
What you will be able to do
- State what a screen is for before drawing anything on it
- Map the steps around a screen, not just the screen
- Build a layout where the eye lands on the right thing first
- Set type and colour that stay readable on a cheap phone in daylight
- Design the empty, loading and error states rather than only the happy one
Students and freshers going into product or visual design, and developers who keep being asked to make things look right.

One screen, properly
A written design for the screen: its one sentence job, the layout top to bottom, the primary action, what the empty, loading and error states do, and why you made the two or three decisions you expect to be questioned.
About 85 minutes in total.
Two levels
Finish the units and the project and you get the Certificate of Completion. Add a live skill challenge on UI Design and it becomes a Verified Certificate, which anyone you send it to can check for themselves.
Questions
What does it cost?
Nothing while insiderOne is in beta.
Can an employer check it?
Yes. Every certificate has its own page, and the code printed on it resolves there without anyone needing an account.
Do I need any experience?
No. These are written for students and people in their first job, and they assume nothing.
What do I actually walk away with?
The certificate, and the piece of work you made for the project, which stays in your insiderOne profile where an employer can see it.
