Role Overview

We're looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to drive customer acquisition, convert leads into customers, and contribute directly to Upride's growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, solving problems, and thrives in a high-growth startup environment.

The work

Key Responsibilities

• Contact and qualify inbound leads through phone calls and WhatsApp.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable Upride services.
• Convert enquiries into successful bookings.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers.
• Maintain customer information and sales updates in the CRM.
• Coordinate with the operations team for smooth onboarding and scheduling.
• Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Collect customer feedback to improve the sales process.

Who they want

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory).
• 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, telesales, or customer success.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (Kannada is an added advantage).
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven startup environment.
• Basic knowledge of Google Sheets and CRM tools is a plus.
• Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn.
