Social Media Manager Job Role The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the Instagram and Facebook presence of multiple client brands. The role involves competitor and audience research, content strategy, content calendar planning, coordination with creative teams, publishing and analysing social media performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Social Media Marketing along with basic skills in graphic design and video editing. Roles & Responsibilities • Social Media Management: Manage Instagram and Facebook accounts, including scheduling, publishing, comments, DMs and community engagement. • Research & Strategy: Conduct competitor, audience, industry and trend research and use the insights to develop brand-specific social media strategies. • Content Planning: Prepare monthly content calendars and plan Reels, static posts, carousels, Stories and campaign content based on brand objectives. • Content Execution: Develop content briefs, hooks, captions and CTAs; coordinate with designers/video editors and review creatives before publishing. • Performance & Reporting: Track reach, engagement, followers, profile visits and content performance; prepare reports and identify areas for improvement. • Creative & Trends: Stay updated with Instagram/Facebook trends and formats, and have basic capability in Canva/graphic design and short-form video editing for quick content requirements.
