What you'll do

• Communicate globally with suppliers and internal contacts
• Participate in negotiations and learn purchasing processes
• Evaluate suppliers in the international market
• Plausibilize offers and create offer comparisons
• Prepare purchasing decisions
• Support global production capacity assurance and risk management
• Engage in internal cross-functional communication with departments internationally
• Assist purchasing in daily and strategic business operations
• Take responsibility for department-specific special projects (optional, subject to availability)

Requirements

What they're looking for

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Independent and communicative team player
• Negotiation-level German proficiency
• Very good English proficiency
• Enrolled in a university for the duration of the internship
• Internship must be a mandatory part of studies (Pflichtpraktikum)
