About the role

Oxford University Press is hiring for the role of Marketing Operations Assistant!

The work

Responsibilities of the Candidate

  • Administer and maintain records for complimentary, review, and incentive copies, and process review requests from academic journals and media.
  • Maintain and update accurate product information across OUP's marketing systems and public websites to ensure discoverability.
  • Create and distribute sales collateral (catalogues, sales sheets, promotional materials) to support Academic Sales teams.
  • Support co-operative marketing initiatives with external partners, process payments, and track marketing spend against budgets.
  • Manage author communications in shared inboxes, respond to standard queries, and provide promotional materials to authors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a professional office-based working environment.
  • Education: Educated to A-Level/BTEC standard or equivalent (CIM Level 3 or higher is a plus).
  • Intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective time management, and customer service experience.
