Paytm is hiring for the role of Insurance Sales - Team Lead!

The work

Responsibilities of the Candidate

  • Own sourcing and growth of Insurance business within the Lending portfolio
  • Build and lead a team of Field Sales Executives (FSEs) to drive acquisition, conversions, and sustained insurance volume
  • Source and grow Insurance business for the Lending team through field and partner channels
  • Hire, onboard, coach, and manage FSEs to hit sourcing and conversion targets
  • Set daily/weekly plans, track pipeline, and drive productivity across the team
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal Lending stakeholders
  • Ensure process compliance, quality of leads, and accurate reporting
  • Identify market opportunities and share ground-level insights with leadership
  • Meet individual and team targets for insurance sourcing and business growth

Who they want

Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance / lending / financial services sales or sourcing
  • Prior people-management or team-lead experience preferred (hiring and managing FSEs/field teams is a plus)
  • Strong field sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with targets, reporting, and working in a fast-paced lending environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for sourcing and team oversight
  • Must have completed his graduation
