The work

Responsibilities

  • Conduct soil investigation and field testing activities at construction and infrastructure sites.
  • Perform non-destructive testing, including UPV, PIT and rebound hammer tests.
  • Assist with and execute pile load testing activities in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Prepare site reports, test records and supporting technical documentation.
  • Follow safety, quality and testing procedures consistently during field operations.
  • Coordinate with site teams and maintain complete, accurate field records.
  • Travel across India to work at locations assigned by the project team.

The role is based in Chennai for administrative purposes, with deployment to project sites across India. Eight positions are available. Accommodation is provided, along with a flexible schedule, food and other employee benefits.

  • Diploma or graduate qualification in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Practical experience in NDT, geotechnical testing, soil investigation or field testing will be valued.
  • Working knowledge of UPV, PIT, rebound hammer and pile load testing is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work effectively at construction sites.
  • Strong reporting, documentation, coordination and communication abilities.
  • Relevant experience: candidates with suitable field exposure may apply; compensation is fixed at ₹20,000 per month.
