About Chauffit

  • Chauffit is a safety-first, on-demand driver service for people who own a car but can't always, or shouldn't, drive it themselves. Customers book a professionally verified and assessed driver within minutes, for their own car, and pay only for the trip.
  • We are building the most trusted way to get your car driven, starting with Gurugram, where we launch in November 2026. Our apps are live, and we are a small, ambitious team focused on safety, reliability and an exceptional customer experience.

The work

About the Role

Location: Gurugram (field-based, on-ground)

Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹3.6 - 4.2 LPA

Start date: 16 November 2026

  • As our External Operations Associate, you will own everything that happens on the ground. You will build our driver and biker supply, set up and manage the partners we depend on, and open new areas and channels as we grow across Gurugram.
  • This is a field role that combines operations and business development. Some days you will be onboarding drivers; other days you will be pitching a club, a bar or a residents' association. In the early weeks after launch you will also be the first responder when a trip needs urgent help.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: Run a repeatable driver and biker onboarding process, from sourcing to verification to training, and have our core vendors (training, uniforms) delivering on time
  • First 60 days: Bring live partnerships with clubs, bars and residential societies that send us bookings, each tracked from first contact to first trip
  • First 90 days: Own the playbook for opening a new area: supply, partners and on-ground readiness, with the numbers to show it works

The work

Key Responsibilities

  • Driver and biker onboarding
  • Source drivers and bikers through referrals, local networks, job boards and on-ground drives
  • Run document collection, background verification and assessment for every partner
  • Coordinate training and uniforms so each partner is road-ready on day one
  • Keep the supply pipeline and partner records current
  • Vendor and partner management
  • Manage our third-party partners, including the driving school that trains our drivers and the uniform supplier
  • Negotiate terms, track deliveries and fix issues before they reach customers
  • Business development and expansion
  • Pitch and close partnerships with clubs, bars, residents' welfare associations (RWAs) and other local channels
  • Follow up on leads and keep a partner tracker with status and next steps
  • Scout new areas and prepare supply and partners before each one goes live
  • On-ground support
  • Handle SOS and urgent trip issues in the early launch phase, and escalate to the founders when needed
  • Oversee the kiosk during night operations, ensuring it is staffed, operational and running smoothly
  • Support launch events, society activations and kiosks with the marketing team
  • Share a weekly update on supply, partners and issues, with what to fix next

  • 1–3 years in field operations, supply onboarding, business development or partnerships (strong freshers with on-ground experience are welcome)
  • Comfortable spending most of the day in the field across Gurugram, including some evenings and weekends around launch
  • Confident in Hindi and English, able to talk with drivers, vendors and venue managers alike
  • Organised with trackers in Google Sheets/Excel, and quick to follow up
  • Calm and practical under pressure, with high ownership
  • Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence
