The work

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business across Kolkata through field visits, lead generation, and relationship management.
• Build productive connections with mutual fund distributors, insurance professionals, channel partners, and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities, explain relevant financial products, and support partners through the sales cycle.
• Track leads, follow up consistently, meet business targets, and maintain accurate sales reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely onboarding, service support, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in mutual fund distribution, field sales, insurance, or a closely related BFSI segment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with extensive field activity and independently managing a territory in Kolkata.
• Target-oriented approach with the ability to convert leads and develop long-term channel relationships.
• Basic understanding of financial products and customer acquisition practices is preferred.
