About the role

We're hiring two AI filmmaking interns.

Most AI content studios want prompt engineers. We want storytellers: people who can read a vague brief and already picture the whole film before anything gets generated.

Mango Giraffe Labs is an early-stage company researching video and image models to make better films. We're also building a platform that makes filmmaking as easy as 1-2-3, and we work with real clients, including some of the biggest production houses in India. Right now we're working on one of the largest AI filmmaking projects coming out of the country this year, and you'd be on it.

The founding team is a mix of AI/ML researchers, platform builders and filmmakers. You'll work directly with them, including the CEO and CTO.

Also

You're probably a good fit if

  • You've made something you're proud of. A short film, a reel, a brand video, anything.
  • You have taste and strong opinions on aesthetics, composition and storytelling.
  • You can understand what a director wants and turn it into visuals.
  • You've used AI image and video tools enough to know what they can and can't do.
  • You want to own the whole creative process, from the first brief to the final frame.

Also

Tools you should know

Blender or 3D modelling experience is a bonus.

  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Premiere Pro
  • Photoshop
  • AI video generation platforms
  • General video editing

Also

What you get

This is a high-ownership role, so you won't be stuck on busywork.

AI filmmaking is still being figured out, and the people who learn it now will help decide what it looks like.

  • A paid internship, starting at ₹10,000 a month
  • Direct access to the founders
  • Hands-on work on a real production with the latest AI filmmaking tools
  • Time with some of the people leading AI filmmaking right now
  • A project that will mean something on your CV

Also

Before you apply

  • This is an internship, not a full-time job. Is that what you're looking for?
