Internship pay

Report what an internship paid you

Listings say what employers advertise. Tell the next student what you were actually paid, and see what other interns report for the same company.

As on your offer letter, for example Data analyst intern.

Before any deduction. 0 if it was unpaid. Up to ₹2,00,000.

Would you tell a friend to take it? Optional, and never shown on its own.

Free. Your report waits here while you sign up, then it is sent.

How it works

  • You report one internship: the company, your role, where it was, the monthly stipend (0 if unpaid), how long it lasted, and whether pay came on time.
  • A company's figure shows only once 5 interns have reported it. Before that, the page says how many reports it has so far.
  • What shows is the median and the middle half of reports, rounded to the nearest ₹500, with how many reports it rests on. No single report is ever shown, and no name.
  • One report per person per company and role. Reporting the same one again replaces it.

These are what interns say they were paid. insiderOne does not check them against payslips, and they are not a rating of any company.

Questions

Who sees my report?

Nobody sees it on its own. A company's figure appears only once 5 interns have reported it, as a median and a middle range rounded to the nearest ₹500, never anyone's exact stipend. Your name is never attached to it.

Why do I need an account?

One person, one report per internship. An account is how a company's figure stays honest instead of being typed in fifty times by one person.

What if the internship was unpaid?

Report 0. How many internships turn out unpaid is one of the things students most want to know before they accept.

Can I change my report?

Report the same company and role again and the new one replaces the old one.
