The work

Responsibilities

• Raise B2B and B2C invoices in Zoho Books using approved contracts and billing inputs, while tracking unbilled items, credit notes and invoice corrections.
• Monitor customer receipts, maintain receivables ageing and coordinate timely follow-ups with relevant teams.
• Reconcile Razorpay collections, settlements, refunds, fees and automated payouts against bank statements and accounting records, resolving exceptions promptly.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, routine journal entries and supporting schedules for the month-end close.
• Prepare and reconcile information for GST returns, including GSTR-1, and support TDS accounting and quarterly compliance activities.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and provide reconciliations, schedules and evidence for statutory, tax and internal audits.
• Maintain billing, collections and reconciliation trackers and identify practical improvements to finance processes and reporting.

Success in this role means delivering accurate and timely invoicing, completing bank and Razorpay reconciliations regularly, resolving differences with clear tracking, and maintaining reliable receivables, month-end and compliance support.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance; CA Inter or a postgraduate qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations, preferably within a technology, SaaS, healthcare-tech or services business.
• Working knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and month-end accounting.
• Experience with accounting software; Zoho Books and Razorpay experience will be preferred.
• Good Excel skills, strong attention to detail, accountability and the ability to manage recurring deadlines.
