Data Protection Analyst

Tsaaro is hiring for the role of Data Protection Analyst! Responsibiliies of the Candidate: • Support data privacy and information security initiatives, including GDPR and other regulatory requirements • Assist with audit preparation, remediation tracking, documentation, and follow ups to ensure compliance timelines are met • Work on GRC platforms to track compliance status, risks, and dashboards • Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI or similar tools • Support AI governance initiatives, including research and documentation for ISO 42001 readiness • Track and review evolving data protection and security regulations across regions such as Europe, KSA, and Asia • Assist in reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and internal standards • Manage and improve adoption of internal information security and privacy knowledge resources Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Law, or a related field • Minimum of two years of experience in data protection, compliance, information security, legal, or related domains • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 • Good working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and risk management • Strong documentation and presentation skills; PowerPoint required • Preferred • Certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, or CompTIA Security Plus • Familiarity with security tools, audits, and compliance frameworks
