Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Communication Specialist Intern to support Madhumitra’s overall communication activities. This is a remote, full-time internship and a great opportunity to understand how communication works in the healthcare and wellness sector.

The selected candidate will support webinar coordination, patient communication, feedback collection, social media planning and execution, and overall communication strategy. Training will be provided for the role and the tools required.

The work

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and engage with Madhumitra’s WhatsApp community.
• Plan and schedule social media content, including reels, stories, blogs, and other posts. Training on scheduling tools will be provided.
• Create basic social media posts and informational cards using Figma. Training will be provided, so prior experience is not mandatory.
• Write scripts for social media reels and other short-form content.
• Help plan social media campaigns, content calendars, and communication strategies.
• Coordinate webinars, online sessions, and communication with participants.
• Support patient communication, follow-ups, and feedback collection.
• Assist in client engagement activities and coordinate with internal team members for smooth execution of tasks.
• Maintain professional, empathetic, and clear communication at all times.
• Handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.

• Own laptop and reliable internet connection.
• Basic knowledge of Google Meet, Zoom, or similar online meeting platforms.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and content planning.
• Willingness to learn tools such as Figma and social media scheduling software.
• Marathi communication skills will be a plus.
