About the Company

Cochin Petromins Pvt Ltd is seeking motivated Business Development Officers to expand the market for industrial fragrances and flavors. These are concentrated fragrance compounds formulated for commercial and manufacturing applications, and the role will involve developing strong relationships with businesses in Malappuram.

The work

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in local Malappuram and Ernakulam district.
• Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in industrial fragrances and flavors.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with existing B2B clients.
• Create strategic client relationships, generate qualified leads, and achieve assigned revenue targets.
• Present suitable product solutions to commercial and manufacturing customers and coordinate follow-ups through the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales progress.

Requirements

This is an immediate hiring opportunity with performance-based incentives.

• 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to understand local markets and independently develop a strong customer network.
• Candidates residing in Malappuram District will be considered for Calicut, Malappuram, and Palakkad markets.
• Candidates residing in Ernakulam will be considered for Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Thrissur markets.
• Applicants between 28 and 34 years of age are preferred.
