The whole reason an offer tool exists is to answer one question: is this good? Offer Advisor puts the figure you were offered beside a market band and says below, at, above, or honestly unknown. The Offer Advisor compares a compensation offer against a market band and returns a verdict of below, at, above, or unknown, together with the levers worth negotiating. A band is only produced when it can be looked up live with sources shown or derived from at least three comparable live postings; otherwise it returns no band and says so, rather than inventing a median that could cost someone real pay.
Named mechanisms, not adjectives.
Every one of these is implemented and can be pointed at. On a product whose pitch is that claims get checked, the description of it cannot be the one place that is not.
A fabricated band is worse than no band
Every function in the module returns nothing rather than guessing. When it cannot benchmark a title, the page says it could not, instead of printing a confident median built from two stale postings.
The band names its source
Grounded, meaning looked up live against the open web with sources shown. Comparable postings, meaning derived from at least three live listings for the same title. Or none. The verdict says which it rests on.
Below, at, above, or unknown
Your offer is positioned against the band with the arithmetic visible, and unknown is a legitimate answer rather than a rounded guess.

Why does it sometimes give no band?
Because it could not find enough to support one: fewer than three comparable live postings and no grounded lookup. A confident number invented from too little would do real damage in a real negotiation, so it says unknown instead.

Either a live, cited lookup against the open web, or at least three comparable live postings for the same title. The band says which, every time.
