The work

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging videos for brand campaigns, social media, advertisements, presentations, and other client-facing projects.
• Work with the creative and account teams to understand briefs, translate concepts into compelling visual narratives, and deliver work within agreed timelines.
• Select suitable footage, music, sound effects, transitions, graphics, and colour treatments to maintain a consistent brand style.
• Organise project files, manage revisions, incorporate feedback accurately, and prepare exports in formats suited to different platforms.
• Stay updated on current video, editing, motion, and social content trends while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Requirements

This is a full-time, in-office opportunity based in Chennai. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of ₹20,000 to ₹25,000, depending on relevant experience, portfolio quality, and overall fit for the role.

• At least 1 year of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or a related creative role.
• Strong understanding of editing principles including pacing, composition, audio sync, colour correction, and storytelling.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and collaborate effectively with designers, copywriters, strategists, and clients.
• Comfort working on multiple projects, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced branding agency environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant editing work is preferred.
