About Job Role

Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and timeliness of the organization’s accounting information by coordinating general accounting, overseeing critical accounting processes, and serving as a technical point of reference on accounting and tax matters. The position contributes directly to the accurate preparation of financial statements, regulatory compliance, and audit support, while supporting financial decision-making and the supervision of junior-level accountants.

Job Responsibilities

  • Book/Review journal entries (accrual/recurring/daily transactions) for across all balance sheet & PnL category of accounts
  • Enter/Review accounting data into the system and verify its accuracy.
  • Process AP Invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank transactions with the invoices processed in the preceding step.
  • Review the aging of balances in the Accounts Payable module and follow up on aged items.
  • Perform the monthly close of the Accounts Payable module.
  • Fixed Assets accounting (Capitalization, Depreciation, Transfer, Disposal), Roll-forward
  • Intercompany accounting & reconciliation
  • Perform reconciliations across all Balance sheet categories including Bank reconciliations, on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Prepare/support on financial reports (internal/external)
  • Support/co-ordinate with auditors on providing data as requested
  • Support general accounting activities such as amortization, fixed assets, financing, accruals, and other related activities.
  • Coordinate and review general accounting for one or more business lines, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly in accordance with accounting principles and internal policies.
  • Oversee and validate key accounting processes such as reconciliations, accruals, amortization, fixed assets, financing, and payroll-related taxes.
  • Review and consolidate accounting information for the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
  • Provide technical support and accounting guidance to Process Developers, ensuring activities are executed correctly and in accordance with standards.
  • Coordinate and follow up on monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits by providing required information, analysis, and support.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting requirements and the proper compilation of supporting documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and the use of ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor and other finance functions to resolve accounting issues and ensure consistency of information.
