Responsibilities of the Candidate

  • Analyze telemetry and trace data with support from experienced engineers to understand software and hardware behavior at scale.
  • Investigate system issues using debugging and performance-analysis tools to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of code that improves experiences across operating system and application layers.
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality solutions following sound engineering practices, code reviews, and data-backed validations.
  • Collaborate with team members and partner teams to deliver fundamental performance and power optimizations across the Windows ecosystem.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with proven coding experience (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python) or equivalent experience.
