Quality Assurance (QA) / Web Application Testing Internship

Axinq Technologies private limited is hiring for a Quality Assurance (QA) / Web Application Testing Intern! Responsibilities • Perform manual exploratory, functional, cross-browser, and regression testing across important user journeys. • Create structured test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria from product requirements. • Identify, document, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps, console logs, screenshots, and screen recordings. • Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman or cURL, including endpoint behavior and payload validation. • Review UI and UX behavior across different screen sizes, browsers, and devices, highlighting responsiveness issues and inconsistencies. • Assist with basic end-to-end automated testing when required. Requirements • Suitable for an entry-level candidate or intern with an interest in software quality assurance and web application testing. • Foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle. • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, HTTP methods, status codes, and browser Developer Tools. • Understanding of API testing basics using Postman or cURL. • Strong written communication skills for documenting edge cases and detailed bug reports. • Analytical thinking and close attention to detail. • Familiarity with Git and project tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or GitHub Issues is an advantage. • Basic SQL or database-querying knowledge for validating persisted data is a bonus.
