Energy Data Analytics Intern

IKEA is hiring for the role of Energy Data Analytics Intern! Responsibilities of the Intern: • Monitor, validate, and analyze electricity, water, diesel, solar, and utility consumption data. • Monitor energy performance indicators and key performance metrics across multiple stores and facilities. • Analyze utility bills and identify anomalies, wastage, and cost-saving opportunities. • Support implementation and maintenance of Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS). • Perform trend analysis, benchmarking, and forecasting of energy consumption. • Calculate Energy Use Intensity, carbon emissions, and sustainability metrics. • Coordinate with facility teams to investigate unusual energy / water consumption patterns. • Support renewable energy projects, including solar PV performance monitoring and reporting. • Assist in energy audits, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities. • Maintain energy databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
