BookMyShow is hiring for the role of CLM Trainee/Intern!

The work

Responsibilities of the Intern

  • Support the planning and execution of customer engagement and marketing campaigns across different stages of the customer journey – from onboarding and engagement to retention and reactivation.
  • Assist in executing campaigns across channels such as Push Notifications, WhatsApp, Email, In-App, App Inbox, and SMS.
  • Work with customer and transactional data to identify audience segments, behavioural patterns, and opportunities to improve customer engagement.
  • Assist in analysing campaign performance and identifying what worked, what didn’t, and how campaigns can be improved.
  • Learn and help build and maintain data cohorts and audience segments.
  • Use AI and LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to assist with campaign briefs, insight summarisation, and report creation.
  • Track campaign performance and compile dashboards with attribution data.
  • Coordinate with Creative/Marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets.

Requirements

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but we care more about how you think than what you studied.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (email, SMS, push notifications, Whatsapp) is a plus, not mandatory.
  • Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets for data organisation.
  • Willingness to learn CLM platforms (CleverTap, WebEngage, MoEngage, etc.) and ESPs (Kenscio, SendGrid, Mailchimp, Netcore, etc.) on the job.
  • AI-first mindset – enthusiasm to use AI/LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for real work.
