Technical Internship - Software Development

About the Company Duedraft.ai is building an AI-native Corporate Legal OS for professional firms. The team is developing technology that helps power legal workflows, document understanding, intelligent automation, and product experiences for professional users. This is a fully remote, two-month unpaid internship for builders who enjoy solving open-ended problems, experimenting with new approaches, and taking ownership of meaningful work. Responsibilities • Contribute to AI, Python, document-processing, backend, or full-stack product initiatives. • Explore and implement LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, OCR, document understanding, classification, information extraction, and AI-assisted automation. • Build and improve APIs, data-processing workflows, integrations, dashboards, authentication, document-management features, and client-facing or internal tools. • Research solutions, test ideas, improve outputs, and communicate technical decisions clearly. • Take initiative beyond assigned tasks by identifying improvements and building useful prototypes. Requirements • Freshers, college students, recent graduates, self-taught developers, and candidates transitioning into AI or software development are welcome. • Strong fundamentals and genuine interest in building software are more important than formal experience or certificates. • Useful skills include Python, AI/LLMs, RAG, document processing, React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, databases, Git, and GitHub. • Experience with FastAPI or Flask, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Tailwind CSS, Docker, cloud deployment, vector databases, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OCR, or AI APIs is helpful but not mandatory. The internship is unpaid and fully remote for two months. Based on performance, technical ability, ownership, contribution, and available opportunities, there may be a possibility of continuing through a paid internship or full-time role; no conversion is automatic or guaranteed.
