KLA is hiring for the role of Software Quality Engineer!

The work

Responsibilities of the Candidate

  • Qualify new and existing software products and features through functional, regression, performance, reliability, and system-level testing.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies to ensure high product quality.
  • Analyze test results and publish qualification reports, recommendations, training materials, and Best Known Methods (BKMs).
  • Collaborate with Algorithm, System Engineering, Applications Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Customer Support teams across global locations.
  • Assess automation feasibility and develop automated test solutions, frameworks, and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design reviews, deployment, troubleshooting, and customer support.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with software testing, automation frameworks, and quality engineering methodologies.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, AI agents, or AI application development is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillls.
