The Role

Own the product strategy and execution for ad monetization across demand, auction, ad delivery and monetization infrastructure. Drive the evolution of the programmatic stack, improve yield and ad quality, and build new monetization capabilities across formats and surfaces.

What You’ll Own

• Own demand prioritization, auction strategy, pricing and partner allocation to maximize yield and revenue efficiency.
• Drive the roadmap for programmatic pipelines, Prebid, mediation, bidding and auction capabilities across the ad stack.
• Own integrations with demand partners, SDKs, APIs and third-party monetization platforms, ensuring scalable and reliable execution.
• Own ad monetization products to track ad metric fluctuations, auction analytics and ad quality to improve monetization capabilities
• Define and monitor key ad metrics across the funnel, including fill, CTR, CPM, eCPM, rCPM, viewability, latency and revenue efficiency.
• Identify, define and launch new ad formats and placements that expand monetizable inventory while maintaining a strong user experience.
• Build AI-driven products and capabilities for demand optimization, pricing, forecasting, anomaly detection, automation and monetization decision-making.
• Develop and scale monetization experiments, using data to validate impact and make informed product decisions.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Data, Business, Ad Operations and external partners to take initiatives from problem definition through launch and scale.

• 8–10 years of product management experience, with significant experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, publisher monetization or a related domain.
• Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including SSPs, exchanges, header bidding, Prebid, auctions, demand prioritization and ad serving.
• Hands-on understanding of publisher-side monetization, including yield optimization, pricing, floors, fill and demand partner performance.
• Experience owning SDK, API and third-party platform integrations, with the ability to work closely with Engineering on technical architecture and implementation.
• Strong analytical understanding of ad metrics and monetization funnels, with the ability to diagnose performance issues using data.
• Experience building or scaling new ad formats, monetization products or advertising capabilities.
• Strong understanding of mobile advertising and in-app monetization is preferred.
• Experience working with AI/ML-driven products or automation and a practical understanding of where AI can improve monetization decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Engineering, Data, Business, Operations and external partners.
• Strong bias toward execution, with a track record of taking complex products from strategy and problem definition through launch, adoption and measurable impact.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and technical depth, moving from product strategy to auction mechanics, APIs, metrics and implementation details when required.
