NXP is hiring for the role of Information Security Training Developer!

The work

Responsibilities of the Candidate

  • Design end-to-end learning solutions using instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, or similar).
  • Develop interactive eLearning courses using LMS developer tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Captivate, etc.)
  • Create microlearning, knowledge checks, simulations, and scenario-based learning for security topics (e.g., phishing, data handling, access control).
  • Translate complex information security concepts into clear, role-based, learner-friendly content.
  • Apply learning science, UX, and visual design principles to improve comprehension and retention.
  • Ensure all learning assets align with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Support enterprise security awareness programs and targeted training for specific audiences (engineering, HR, finance, contractors, leaders).
  • Develop supporting assets such as job aids, one-pagers, infographics, short videos, and internal web pages.
  • Contribute to awareness campaigns tied to policy launches, annual training, phishing simulations, or regulatory requirements.
  • Design assessments, quizzes, and surveys to measure learning effectiveness and comprehension.
  • Analyze LMS data (completion rates, scores, feedback) and recommend improvements.
  • Iterate on content based on learner feedback, metrics, and evolving security risks.
  • Document templates, standards, and reusable components to scale development efficiently.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or digital training content creation.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience developing courses for LMS delivery.
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate).
  • Strong digital design skills with examples of interactive or web-based learning content.
  • Ability to translate technical or compliance-heavy topics into engaging learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and learning analytics fundamentals.
  • Excellent written communication, storyboarding, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organization, version control discipline, and ability to manage multiple projects.
