Scrub is hiring a Full-Stack Software Developer Intern!

The work

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Develop backend APIs and server-side functionality with attention to security and maintainability.
  • Work with databases and contribute to efficient data models.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, user management, dashboards, and internal tools.
  • Integrate REST and social media APIs and help debug, test, and optimize existing features.
  • Collaborate with the founding team and developers, participate in code reviews, and take assigned features from development through deployment.

  • This is an unpaid internship suitable for students and aspiring developers seeking practical product-building experience.
  • Good fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with basic knowledge of frontend and backend development.
  • Familiarity with React.js and/or Node.js, REST APIs, databases, and Git/GitHub is helpful.
  • Exposure to technologies such as TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Prisma, Mongoose, OAuth, JWT, or deployment platforms is advantageous, but strong learning ability matters more than knowing every tool.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership, clear communication, and the ability to work independently are expected.
  • The internship lasts 2 months and is remote. Interns will receive a certificate upon successful completion, and a letter of recommendation may be provided based on performance and contribution.
