The work

Key Responsibilities

• Research current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends.
• Study cybersecurity tools, technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Research topics related to Web Security, Application Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, and AI Security.
• Analyze publicly available security reports, CVEs, threat intelligence, and technical resources.
• Study real-world cybersecurity incidents and understand how they occurred.
• Identify potential security risks and research possible mitigation approaches.
• Prepare research notes, technical summaries, reports, and presentations.
• Explore emerging areas such as AI Security, LLM Security, and AI-powered cyber threats.
• Assist in preparing cybersecurity-related documentation and knowledge resources.
• Work on assigned research topics and present findings to the team.

Requirements

• Students or recent graduates from CSE, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related backgrounds.
• Genuine interest in cybersecurity and security research.
• Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and web technologies.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand technical documentation and research material.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn independently and explore new technologies.

Nice to have

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Understanding of OWASP and common web security concepts.
• Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Nmap, or similar tools.
• Basic Python or scripting knowledge.
• Understanding of CVEs, vulnerability research, or threat intelligence.
• Academic or personal cybersecurity projects.
• CTF participation or cybersecurity certifications.
